Hi,

Good attempt! I liked the shot except the composition. Had you kept the kid's hand out of the frame, I feel the shot would be awesome.
Anyway, good one!

Thanks,
Vishal

Varun,
good attempt :D
What i would have preferred in the pic is to see a bit more of the chin. the crop is very odd.
Same with the hand would have preferred a bit more of the palm.

I like the BW treatment & the expression of the kid is captured well

I am really thankful to all of you for your comments.
Attaching one more snap I took then. This one is a slightly wider shot. I didn't like it as much as the one I uploaded.

I like the second one .. the viewers attention in drawn to the hand which leads to the face.

Second Mayur's inputs.
The balance looks good between the dark and bright spaces in the pic. The catchlight in the eye adds more life to the pic. Good one :)

Cheers!!

Varun.. good is a relative term. it is not necessary that ur fav is others fav to or visa versa.

:) ok...
So i will tell you why i like the first one over the second one:
1. The left eye in the second pic is too close to the center. i prefer the first one in which the eye is a bit to the right of the frame.
2. I like to overfill the frame. co i cut the chin. only the hand is a bit distracting in the first snap.
3. The expressions are better in the first one.
4. background is too bright in the second.
